National Park Service Arrives in Paterson
Leading the National Park Service team creating the new park is a longtime Park Service expert in historic districts, Bill Bolger. His previous Park Service experience includes work in Paterson with AmeriCorps, and he takes special pride in the youth corps he is launching now around the Great Falls.
You will increasingly see this friendly and thoughtful 6'4" tall, bearded gentleman in the historic district that he first visited when a graduate student in Columbia University's historic preservation program. Until taking on this new assignment for the Park Service, where he has worked for more than 25 years, he was Director of the Nation Historic Landmarks Program for all of the northeastern states from Maine to Virginia, including Washington, DC.
Mr. Bolger will soon have an office near the Great Falls. Email: Bill_Bolger@nps.gov. Phone: 215.597.1649.
